Current Concepts in Facial Trauma

This webinar will focus on current techniques for treating  complex maxillofacial trauma. Technologies such as navigation and virtual surgical planning provide clinicians with more predicable methods of treatment. A variety of case examples will be discussed including both hard and soft tissue trauma. 

Participants will learn to: 

-Understand current technologies and techniques useful in treating a wide variety of complex facial injuries

- Understand when each technique should be used in individual cases of complex facial industries and why 

Alan Herford

Dr. Herford is Professor and Chair of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Loma Linda University.  He received his DDS degree from LLU School of Dentistry and trained in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas.  He earned his MD from the University of Texas at Dallas Southwestern Medical School.  He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.  Dr. Herford serves on numerous committees and Boards including the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS).
