Do values make a difference in the office? A look at how defining your leadership & values improves your office productivity.

Recorded On: 10/19/2021

To remain competitive in today’s business environment, oral surgical practices need to measure their productivity and look for ways to improve performance. However, surgical practices that desire to move to the next level need to move from evaluating their support staff based solely on competencies and production, to alignment with the office values. (Reed, Vidaver-Cohen, & Colwell, 2011). Successful practices need to identify their values, and integrate them into their daily practice, including an understanding on how they lead.

This lecture will summarize the recent literature. The learning objectives include:

1.       An understanding on whether the integration of values really does improve organizational productivity

2.       How to create values that will stick

3.       How your leadership in the office can make that difference you’re looking for!
