How to get started in research?
Sometimes with research the hardest thing is getting started! There are many boxes to check when starting a research project - What is a good question? What type of study should I design? Where will I get funding? Who can help me? Where will the patients come from? These are all critical questions that you will need to answer to get a project successfully off the ground.
In this hour long webinar, aimed at new investigators, we will discuss some successful strategies to set up your project and get it off the ground.
Learning objectives:
1. Learners will understand the fundamentals of a good research question
2. When and how to engage a biostatistician will be discussed
3. Participants will gain an understanding of different funding sources and how best to engage them in the course of your study design
