Pitching Your Ideas Up and Selling Them Sideways

In any organization, knowing how to sell an idea is important.   Although every inspiration may seem possible, developing an idea and strategizing for buy-in will ensure the best chance of success. This webinar offers guidelines to ensure a successful pitch, buy-in from colleagues and how to take the thought of an idea from conception to execution.

Debra Zabloudil, FACHE, CAE

Debra Zabloudil serves as the President, CEO and founder of the Learning Studio, which serves the association and corporate communities in a variety of consulting, thought leadership and training needs.  

On a day to day basis, Debra and her team can be found traveling the globe, producing educational content for leaders in hundreds of different industries or professions, running consulting projects for professional and trade associations and speaking, facilitating and designing workshops and learning labs for customers, members and staffs of organizations worldwide. Debra is a frequent speaker and writer on the topics of leadership development and management issues. 
Debra works regularly with a number of well-known organizations such as The Young Presidents Organization (YPO), the International Trade Show IMEX, The American Hospital Association, ASAE, The Association Forum and more. 
Debra is a Certified Association Executive and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.  She is also an Association Forum John T. Thiel award winner and a PCMA “Best in Class” speaker.    

Prof. Alexis Olsson (Moderator)

Prof. Alexis B. Olsson has been an IAOMS Fellow since 1992 and serves as IAOMS  President (2018-2019) having served as Vice President (2016-2017) and on the Board of Directors as Assistant Executive Director (1999 – 2011).   

Prof. Olsson is Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Lurie Children’s Hospitals in Chicago. He is Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery. 

His clinical interests include facial trauma, reconstructive and orthognathic surgery. Prof. Olsson serves as an Examiner for the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, and holds fellowships including the American College of Surgeons. 

Prof. Olsson received his undergraduate education at Carroll University (USA). He completed his graduate education at Northwestern University, and postgraduate residency training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
