Unilateral Condylar Hyperplasia (UCH) is a condyle disorder due to an osteoblastic hyperactivity, resulting in facial asymmetry, malocclusion and dysfunction. UCH onset has been reported at any age. Although multiple hypothesis has been suggested, the etiology is still not understood. Clinical findings are controversial and influenced by gender, age, onset and asymmetry type. There are many attempts of classifying these condyle pathological overgrowth. According to Walford and Nitzan there are vertical and transversal pattern of growth. Sometimes there are mixed conditions. The vertical and transverse growth will be described.
